I've been registered as an Independant for 40yrs. I was going to vote for Wallace in 72 until he got shot. I voted for a Dem for NYC mayor in 67 to try and stop Lindsey from his second term. The Rep in that election had no chance. As I admitted to earlier, I voted for Perot in 92. At that time I was voting my pocketbook and was fed up with both parties. Every other time I've voted Republican.

Put me into whatever pigeon hole you want and call me what you will.

That's ironic. You voted your pocket book, voted for Perot, which helped Clinton get elected, since 2/3rds or more of Perot votes were people that would have voted Bush, and then Bush would have won. So Clinton won, and for eight years, you paid more taxes than you would have under Bush 41 in a second term. That didn't work out so well for your pocket book in retrospect. Bitter irony.

The bottom line point I have said a hundred times today is this. The conservative movement created this majority. That movement was lead by conservative social Republicans. Giuliani is a RINO. Giuliani does not agree with half the GOP plank. It wasn't RINOs that created this majority, it was REAL solid conservatives. That's the bottom line. Giuliani is the GOP type that made the GOP a minority party for 50 years with secular non-values ideals. It was social conservative Reagan that birthed the conservative movement, taking the GOP back to it's 1850's roots through Abe Lincolns terms, until the 1930s, when the secular Republicans took over. So basically, the last time the RINOs took over the party, the GOP was a minority for 50 yars. Do ya really want to do that again? I don't.
