We may get the third party off the ground this election. But I say reset to our Constutional baseline. Let's not
let liberals destroy our Republic.

he has the courage most libs don't... I think it's because he actually believes in things!....;) Good for him... the entire democratic party should be ashamed, really ashamed, for 'kicking him to the curb' like that, IMVHO...

The irony of a new party (if Lieberman were to start it) would be that it would be the Democratic party of old, while the current Dims would be the Green party. It's really sad what these idiots have done to the party of Scoop Jackson and Harry Truman.

You nailed that. Democrat strategy is always go to a court of law because the court of public opinion is against them.

I don't think there will be much of a third party. The old Dems, (what little is left of them) are too scared to go against the money.
And this Lieberman election is a prime example. Which Democrat now wants to go against the liberal wing and risk a primary loss? Democrats today have very few solid principles, so getting them to move left in order to follow the money or to save their jobs is hardly a big deal for them.
Gephardt, Gore and Durbin are just a few of the Dems who became considerably more liberal the more time they spent in Washington. I'm sure there are others like them-in fact probably most of them are like that.

It pains me to see the leftist party hack (Lieberman) who led the efforts to disqualify the absentee military ballots in Florida during the 2000 race pictured as "troop friendly."

This is my formula.
Today's Libertarians = Yesterday's Republicans
Today's Republicans = Yesterday's Democrats
Today's Democrates = Yesterday's Social/Communists
Today's Social/Communists = Yesterdays Totalitarians
Today's Totalitarians = Yesterdays Jihadist Invadors
Today's Jihadist Invadors = Yesterdays Terrorists
I really don't understand the green party and would not know where to rank tham in my list.

Hah, he tried to disenfranchise the military votes and now someone tried to get him off the ballot.
Never thought I'd see the day when this crowd got some of their slime thrown back at them.

He's not really starting a new party.
It's just a line on the ballot. For this one election.
