Let me start by saying that "The Path to 9/11" is one of the best, most intelligent, most pro-American miniseries I've ever seen on TV, and conservatives should support it and promote it as vigorously as possible.
This is the first Hollywood production I’ve seen that honestly depicts how the Clinton administration repeatedly bungled the capture of Osama Bin Laden. One astonishing sequence in "The Path to 9/11" shows the CIA and the Northern Alliance surrounding Bin Laden’s house in Afghanistan. They're on the verge of capturing Bin Laden, but they need final approval from the Clinton administration in order to go ahead. They phone Clinton, but he and his senior staff refuse to give authorization for the capture of Bin Laden, for fear of political fall-out if the mission should go wrong and civilians are harmed. National Security Adviser Sandy Berger in essence tells the team in Afghanistan that if they want to capture Bin Laden, they'll have to go ahead and do it on their own without any official authorization. That way, their necks will be on the line - and not his. The astonished CIA agent on the ground in Afghanistan repeatedly asks Berger if this is really what the administration wants. Berger refuses to answer, and then finally just hangs up on the agent. The CIA team and the Northern Alliance, just a few feet from capturing Bin Laden, have to abandon the entire mission. Bin Laden and Al Qaeda shortly thereafter bomb the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, killing over 225 men, women, and children, and wounding over 4000. txroadkill, you and I are on the same page. These a-wipes understand nothing but death. We have to deal more of it on them. They are animals who stop at nothing.
Well, if we take action to find out where they are, that would likely place them in more danger or result in them being moved. It's a very difficult situation.
My assessment is that the leadership of this new cell is not of local origin. That this is a coming out event for them, to get international recognitions and by doing so, they are hopeful of being included in the funding streams for Al-Queda affiliated groups.
Upon the deaths of ZarQawi and others, there was a vacuum to fill, and this group chose Gaza, the recognized center of the conflict, to set up operations, with local recruits.
What is amazing about this, is the total lack of awareness that this group existed in such a small area.
As such, we can toss out all the historical standards and norms, and assume that this bunch is likely prepared to execute these two, and may already have plans to do so to increase their standing within the terror community.
I am quite fearful for their future....yes indeed.
Proportional response is called for. If they harm Centanni or Wiig, then level Gaza.

We have known their "side" for 30 years.
And so the practicioners of the ideology of death and destruction strike again. Their savage barbarism is plain for the whole world to see.
Why is the media ignoring this? Cuz the guys are from FOX? Or do they want us to see the "kind and gentle" side of the kidnappers (they sharpen the blade before cutting).
If it's al Qaeda, and they're after someone of theirs we have in our custody, AQ won't give a rat's hairy hind end about the Palestinians.
Real negotiations may be for $$$.
