Had the opportunity to meet Adm. Collins and members of his family last night, he has the charisma to attract the votes of the undecided and even those that are currently committed to Sen. Nelson...rto
"National Security / Terrorism:
America is at war. I shall help ensure our armed forces are appropriately-sized, sensibly-deployed, and properly-supported to prosecute their vital missions in our Nation's defense. I support the President's response following 9/11/01, and I thank God for the valiant performance of the men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces, who are keeping armed conflict away from our shores. Congress must fund protection against terrorists on a sustained basis. Our border and port security remain inadequate after Islamic terrorist attacks on American property and citizens in 1979, 1983, 1985, 1988, 1993, 1996, 1998, 2000, and 2001. WAKE UP, AMERICA!"

Though Collins says he opposes the concept of abortion, he adds it
should be illegal only in the third trimester.''I don't want to see women criminalized because they make
mistakes. I don't want to see them go to some back-alley
practitioner,'' Collins said. ``The decision they make with that is
something they have to live with.''Collins and Monroe favor federal funding for stem-cell research on
fertility-clinic embryos that would otherwise be discarded.

Collins is definitely pro-selective murder.
Gallagher isn't a candidate. Harris has a solid lead in the polls for the primary, which is less than two weeks away. She is followed by McBride, then Collins, then Monroe.
Are you suggesting that Harris will drop out after the primary and give way to Gallagher (either one) since Crist seems to have the governor's election sewn up?
;o)
Crist doesn't have the Gov. race sewn up, especially after last night. Primary polls are never accurate. Rank and file Republicans, the kind that actually vote in the primaries can't stand him and for good reason.
Charlie says: I'm pro-life. That's why I want the law to be pro-choice. I'm a conservative. That's why I support homosexual adoptions and "unions."
Well Charlie. I'm pro Charlie Crist. That's why I'm voting for Tom Gallagher.
Honestly, I have more respect for a liberal that says he's a liberal. Not someone who keeps yelling "I'm a conservative. I'm pro-life, I am, really, I just don't want to change the law."
He's a LIbEral.
With regard to the Senate. I'll go with Harris. The rest are either pro-amnesty or pro-abortion. 2nd choice I'll go with the pro-amnesty guy, reluctantly.
Thanks. This info is welcome. Looks like FL has few conservative candidates these days!
Gallagher isn't running for the senate. If you're going to be one of his supporters, it would be a good idea to know what office he is running for.
He's running for governor and is way behind in fund raising and in the polls, so it doesn't even look like he has any chance of winning that race, thus making him a four-time loser.
Check back here on Sept 6th and we'll all know for certain.
Right now I'm leaning towards Collins. Harris WON'T win against Nelson and Collins has the name recognition here in Florida because of his father.
Like it or not, he's what we've got. To think otherwise would involve believing that the Florida voters, as a whole, are intelligent, enlightened voters who folow politics intensely.
He's got my vote!
It's a shame Harris is afraid to debate him.
