Gaza group claims kidnapping of Fox journalists Wed Aug 23, 2006 08:58 AM ET
GAZA (Reuters) - A previously unknown militant group in Gaza claimed responsibility on Wednesday for the kidnapping nine days ago of two Fox journalists and demanded the United States release "Muslim prisoners" within 72 hours.
"Release what you have, and we will release what we have," the Holy Jihad Brigades said in a fax sent to reporters.

That sounds al Qaeda to me, the demand for prisoners in US custody...
It has been 5 years since September 11, and in my opinion, we have not killed anywhere near enough of them.

CNN did a decent story on the kidnapping this morning. Three or four minutes long, very comprehensive. No snide remarks. Since I hadn't seen anything on the kidnapping in a while on CNN I wondered if it was in response to that column. No news broken in CNN's story, though. Still nothing from the kidnappers.

It may not be practical for now, but look at it like upgrading a furnace/water heater or buying a wood burner. Over time it will pay for itself. ie- the financial damage to the world if another 9-11 happens from money to remove debris, catalog remains, insurance payouts, financial market collapse, etc. Bombing them all to hell may actually save us money in the end. Yes, there is some sarcasm in this thought, but there is also some truth... hmmm.
These guys are running out of names for their terrorist groups.
After an almost news blackout on Fox about the kidnapping...this has become THE story.
There is a big push to the Palestinian people that they NEED fox news to get the story out as those two guys were the only ones willing to go at that time ....and since they are "guests" ..someone had better get them out.
