On the bright side, could this mean that Condi Rice could pull a large number of black votes from the Democrat plantation should she run for Prez in '08?

O, I think so. I have a feeling Dr. Rice's run would be the final nail in the coffin of the Democrat party. They'd disintegrate into the communists, and some weird 'independent/left of center' thing... Hello multi party system.
