"Hey Buddy, where's Bobo?" That PetSmart commercial is so cute.

My favorite beer commercial – but it is a foreign ad.

My own favorite is the Citibank series in identity theft, which is mentioned in the article. It does an excellent and graphic job of explaining a complex problem.

My least favorite - the toenail fungus monster.

Ditto! Very clever and funny!
The 'Rock the Boat' one with the M&M's is creative too!

My Amazon parrot loves cats. She even "meows" imitating them.

She will quite often run her beak through the cat's fur behind the ears etc. and the cat will relax and enjoy it for about a half-hour or so at a time.

They're good buddies, but their friendship is pretty much based on the fact that the parrot has a beak that can crunch a broomstick into splinters.

I almost feel bad that I can't participate in this pop-culture. It's been one and a half years since we got our Dish Network DVR. If I remember correctly, "commercials" are those things I skip over to watch the rest of my show, right?

The Gecko commercials are fun. The ones with Charo, Little Richard and Burt Whatsisname are creepy. I think my most hated commercial is the one with the Burger King with the plastic head. I used to hit Burger King for lunch several times a month, but I haven't set foot in one since they started running those commercials. The part that really bugged me was when they tried to turn it into a viral marketing campaign. Burger King had people emailing help columnists asking where they could get a Burger King "King" costume for Halloween.

On most TV commercials, I just change the channel. Radio commercials can be far more annoying. There was one (I have no idea what they were advertising) where they started with the sound of a guy grinding his teeth, and did a voiceover that said, "I'm going to keep grinding my teeth until you..." I've never found out what he wanted me to do, as I change the channel or cut the radio off immediately. Anything by the Ad Council also stinks. They have one where one guy does really bad ethnic accents calling up about an apartment for rent, and it's rented until a white guy calls and asks about it.

Most annoying/irritating ad #1:

Any ad with "Billy Mays" (Oxy-whatever-it-is, Hercules Hook).

Can't this guy talk in a normal tone of voice?
Does he have to yell ALL THE TIME?

Yes, the BP ads are infuriating.

Re: John Sherer<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

You beat me to it! I'm ready to tell Dish to knock it off, I'm sick of this guy every commercial break. Strangely, we did buy one of his computer DVD sets years ago for the earliest Windows program we had, and it was OK. But he must not have been so annoying back then; I change channels now when that commercial comes on.

In any advertisement, I get po'd when they insert a ringing phone or a siren in the background. Jerks.

My Amazon parrot loves cats.

Back when I had them, my parrot loved to torment my cat. It would ride on the dog’s back as they followed the cat around the apartment. The dog didn’t much like cats either.

I hate this commercial to the max. If I had the worst headache in the world, I would not purchase this product just because of the advertisement.

Any advertisement consultant will tell you that, even though you remember the ad, do you remember it in the positive light or in the negative light. If an ad strikes you in the negative, you will remember it and reject it out of hand.

The Capitol One pillagers are fun to watch and have a pretty good work ethic, too.

There was a great followup to that ad a year or two ago. A sullen teenage girl in the school supply section says, "I thought you said "School's out forever'." Camera pans over to dad, who is Alice Cooper. "No, I said 'School's out for SUMMER'."

It's Staples or Office Depot. The reason I can't remember which is why it's not a good ad from a marketing and branding point of view.

"I like the one with Charo, but the rest aren't too great. "

Did you see the Burger King commercial called "I'm a Man"? It had a whole bunch of guys stomping down a street chomping on their biggest cheeseburger. With women admiring them along their route.

The bumper music is the old feminist tune "I Am Woman" with nicely changed lyrics:):)

Just from a few months ago. It Kicks!! Charo kicks with someone I know from S.A. into laughing unladylike:) Nice T & A and being boisterous with an accent must be funny from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska.

Those are my top 2 ones.
