Coming soon to a town near you. Man, western civilzation was great while it lasted!

Mel should be glad he didn't get caught drunk driving down there.

Fourteen Guatemalan Indians were publicly flogged, forced to kneel on bottle caps and shorn of their hair after being convicted by a traditional assembly of various offenses, local media reported Tuesday. The ancient Mayans had bottle caps?

Flogging in Guatemala, stoning in Iran, beheading in disparate third world hellholes.
And hockey.

I'm trying to imagine what's worse with the bottlecap thing - are they using the old style glass bottle type, or the plastic bottle caps?
I'd go with old school; they might cut, but the weight distribution wouldn't be as bad, IMHO.

As for me,.....I'm a traditionalist. Public flogging is the answer to prison overcrowding. The bottle cap thing is new to me.

About the bottle caps: it's better than just throwing the caps away, right?

Yeah, notice that these guys were busted for "sniffing glue".
They live in a countryside where marijuana and 238 other hallucinogenic substances grow wild.
They'll do anything to get holt of some samples of modern automotive paint.
George Soros policites hold no interest for them.

The ancient Mayans had bottle caps? Of course they did. Ain't you never heard of open-container laws?
