Not Siberia. If they are sent to the common criminal prison they probably won't last long though. It's insanely overcrowded, dozens packed into cells designed to hold two, and diseases like tuberculosis kill most inmates before their sentences are served.

On the other hand, if they can make the case that their crime was a political one, the political prison near Moscow isn't so bad. It's club med compared to the common criminals prisons.
