Mexicans, you say?
Like my brother in law whose parents came from Zacatecas; but who doesn't speak a work of Spanish, goes to an evangelical Protestant church, thinks that Menudo is a Puerto Rican pop group and who would not go to a soccer game at gunpoint? (But he's a big hockey and baseball fan)

Doesn't sound like your B-in-L is part of the problem ... he's legal and has assimilated into American culture quite nicely. It's those who REFUSE to learn English, DEMAND we cater to their every whim, and drive the drug trade, etc., that are the problem. I have NOTHING against LEGAL residents and US-born citizens of Hispanic descent.

Is he here legally?
BTW, I have loads of friends that are of Mexican heritage. Some of the things I see here on FR are tame compared to what they say about illegals. I don't have any problems with Mexicans or anyone else as long as they are here legally and are contributing to the country.
We should have started protecting our borders on 9/12, if not before. The bad guys are already here.

He is probably an exception. What we are mostly getting is
types that don't even speak good spanish, and have no skills whatever.

The correct word is "Marxicans" not mexicans.
