As to the Molotov cocktail, Vlasak said that force is a poor second choice, but if thats the only thing that will work theres certainly moral justification for that.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the incident...

ALF Targets UCLA Professor with Incendiary Device
Posted: July 28, 2006
The Animal Liberation Front (ALF), one of the most active ecoterrorism movements in the United States, issued a statement on July 12, 2006, taking credit for leaving an incendiary device at the home of a UCLA primate researcher.
In its communiqué, ALF said it placed a molotov cocktail on the doorstep of a Lynn Fairbanks, the director of the Center for Primate Neuroethology at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, on June 30, 2006, because of her involvement in animal experimentation.
The incendiary device, however, was not left at Fairbanks home, but rather at home owned by a 70-year-old woman, according to the FBI. Arson investigators said the device failed to ignite, but had it functioned properly, it would have made escape difficult or impossible.
Federal authorities have announced a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Fairbanks has been the focus of a campaign by the Primate Freedom Project at UCLA, whose mission is to end the use of primates in biomedical and harmful behavioral experimentation, according to it Web site.
There is no indication that the Primate Freedom Project at UCLA is connected to the incident, however, in a press release issued by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office, a Primate Freedom Project spokesperson says the professor is riding a gravy train to personal gain, nothing else, and I hope the ALF stops her in her tracks. A photo of the professor and her address are posted on the Primate Freedom Project at UCLA Web site, as is a flyer for distribution in her neighborhood.
This is the very same Vlasack who went on 60 Minutes and said that he supports the murdering of any medical researcher who works on animals.
He's a genuine psychopath...meaning that DUmmie Land thinks he's great.
Vlasak and his wife, the former child actress Pamelyn Ferdin, are both directors of a militant direct action Los Angeles group called the Animal Defense League (ADL-LA).
Ferdin herself is the president of SHAC USA, a violent animal rights group described by the United States Department of Justice as a domestic terror threat.
And Vlasak has stumped publicly for SHAC, appearing at rallies and protests in support of the groups no compromise plan to rid the world of animal laboratories.
Vlasak has personally been arrested several times for animal-rights-related activity...

Jerry Vlasak was defending his 2003 statement (made as a PCRM spokesperson) that political assassination "could be used quite effectively from a pragmatic standpoint ... for 5 lives, 10 lives, 15 human lives, we could save a million, 2 million, 10 million non-human lives."
Great Britain has banned Vlasak and his wife (former child actress Pamelyn Ferdin) because of this and other threats.

You Win- UCLA Vivisector Dario Ringach Quits Animal Experimentation
Los Angeles - In an email received by the Press Office today, UCLA vivisector Dario Ringach stated he will no longer experiment on non-human primates. Although no reason was expressly stated, the correspondence asked that his name be removed from websites exposing his atrocities, and asked that his family be left alone. There was no mention of regrets or plans for atonement.
The subject and first line of the email stated You win, evidently a response to animal activists who have ceaselessly sought to expose the animal suffering emitting from his laboratory. Ringash's home had been the subject of numerous demonstrations, and his neighbors provided with leaflets detailing his unscientific and unnecessary violence. A fellow researcher at UCLA, Lynn Fairbanks, was the target of an attack by the underground Animal Liberation Front last month, in which an incendiary device was reportedly left on her porch. Fairbanks is notorious at UCLA for keeping hundreds of Vervet monkeys in cages, purportedly to study psychological and social problems such as substance abuse, criminality and violence.
According to UCLAPrimateFreedom.com, a website featuring Ringach's work, he has been approved to kill 30 macaque monkeys for vision experiments. Each monkey is first paralyzed, then has coils glued to her eyes during a single session that lasts up to 120 hours, and finally killed. Ringach says his experiments will advance our understanding of how monkeys process what they see. This is a far cry from life saving research.

I wonder how Dr Vlasak would feel if several scientists (or their supporters) were to do a drive-by shooting on his house?
Or at the mimimum, throw a brick through his front window with a note attached telling him to give his spokesman job or end up dead?
Methinks that Jerry wouldn't take very well to all the threats.
I'll bet they support human embryo research.
I thought ALF was named a domestic terrorist.
Yet, they have a website, web communications, internet communications that require a PGP key and continue to add their agendas to our Federal and State bills.
I told her about his comments and she said that the board was "aware of his activities" (I didn't realize that the 60 Minutes piece was a repeat).I asked her if she thought that Valasack was psycitrically or morally fit to practice medicine in California.
Her last words to me were something like "his case is currently under review by the board".If they do try to pull his license, you can be damn sure that the ACLU will get involved....big time!
Well, well, well. Look at who's planning a rally in D.C.

The FBI has said that they are the largest domestic terrorist threat to America.
Vlasek pretends that he does not know these other ALFs. So he can say this garbage with protection from the ACLU.
Like the old Irish IRA pr people pretended not to know the operational people ( Bomb throwers ).
>>>The FBI has said that they are the largest domestic terrorist threat to America.
Is that differnt than being declared a domestic terrorist?
