SERVING THE BEST TROOPS IN THE WORLD

Thank you for risking your lives every day so that we can continue to enjoy our freedom.

It's Little League World Series Week!

The 60th Little League World Series begins in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Sixteen teams divided into four pools (two pools made up of teams from the United States and two pools of international teams) of four teams each will play a modified Olympic pool play format for the first round.

Each team will play each of the other three teams in the pool during the initial round with the top two teams advancing from each pool. For the second round, single elimination play begins with the United States winner and the International winner slated to play the Championship Game on August 27.

The Little League (Baseball) World Series is a baseball tournament for children under 13, named for the World Series in Major League Baseball. Pictures:

Here is a shot of the donation booth where goods for our troops were dropped off. We collected about 50 boxes Sunday!

A color guard ws present, here is the Police on the left, the Patriot Guard in the middle, and the LEATHERNECKS Motorcycle club on the right

Korean War vets from the Orleans VFW present the colors

Several hundred people came during the day to make donations and to listen to different politicians:

Mass State Rep Jeff Perry was there

.

Mass Candidate to run against Ted Kennedy was there, Kevin Scott

Jeff Beatty is running against Mass Dem Delahunt, who is WORSE than Murtha, and we need ALL Massachusetts Freepers help in supporting and helping as much as we can!!

Jeff is standing to my left. he is a former Delta Force Officer, FBI, CIA and you may have seen him on FOX news a few times recently.

Believe it or not, I saved the best picture for last.

The young man in the cammies on the right is Dylan Disilva. He is about 13 or 14 years old.

He has collected and sent over 1000 boxes to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Freepers, a teenager has done more than ANY of us in supporting the troops as individuals.

Dylan is a YOUNG MARINE. And a darn good one!
