Here is a shot of the donation booth where goods for our troops were dropped off. We collected about 50 boxes Sunday!
A color guard ws present, here is the Police on the left, the Patriot Guard in the middle, and the LEATHERNECKS Motorcycle club on the right
Korean War vets from the Orleans VFW present the colors
Several hundred people came during the day to make donations and to listen to different politicians:
Mass State Rep Jeff Perry was there
.
Mass Candidate to run against Ted Kennedy was there, Kevin Scott
Jeff Beatty is running against Mass Dem Delahunt, who is WORSE than Murtha, and we need ALL Massachusetts Freepers help in supporting and helping as much as we can!!
Jeff is standing to my left. he is a former Delta Force Officer, FBI, CIA and you may have seen him on FOX news a few times recently.
Believe it or not, I saved the best picture for last.
The young man in the cammies on the right is Dylan Disilva. He is about 13 or 14 years old.
He has collected and sent over 1000 boxes to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Freepers, a teenager has done more than ANY of us in supporting the troops as individuals.
Dylan is a YOUNG MARINE. And a darn good one!
Here's to a teenager who has done more than any of us in helping our men and women in uniform.

Jeff Beatty is running against Delahunt, a true blue commie from Mass.
he recently stuck up for Hugo Chavez, and even wrote a letter to President Bush demanding that GITMO prisoners had DUE PROCESS, but one of the Pendleton 8 is one of his constituents!!
When asked by the family to help, he had his son respond with a question about finding a lawyer but to not expect much!
Where is the demand for SUE PROCESS for the Pendleton 8???
Great job, Race! Give that young Marine a big hug for me.
WOW!!!!
Race, just WOW!!!!
A sharp hand salute for our troops.
Thank you for those outstanding pictures of those outstanding Americans. I heard G. Gordon Liddy talking about Dylan a few months back. A woman called in to Liddy and corrected him that Dylan was a male not a female. Liddy sure was embarrassed. LOL! Thanks again for the great pictures.
WTG. Would have loved to be there but I have to watch the Devil Puppy.
Who knew there were troop supporters in Mass? ;*)
Pinging the DC Chapter mega-ping list!
Orleans, Massachusetts (pop. 6458) had a Support Our Troops rally on Sunday with several hundred patriotic locals in attendance. Thank you, Orleans!
The DC Chapter is going to hold a Support Our Troops rally on September 23rd.
Wouldn't it be great if we have a similar percentage of our DC Metropolitan population in attendance?
REALLY??? I thought the Cape Cod Orca was "running" unchallenged. Tell us more.
Great post. Thanks.
KUDOS! and a bump.
Great post. Thanks for all the pictures. Will we see you in DC in September?
Love it!!!!!
Awesome pictures. I remember being his age. We didn't have Young Marines then (at least not where I grew up), but I was a Young Explorer, a youth police group. It's good to see that they are still actively encouraged to serve their country.
On another note, you notice that our future military is not brandishing M16s, M4s, pistols, AK-47s, or suicide belts! Nope, these youth groups teach respect, maturity, and honor. These organizations are not violent in nature and bent towards the destruction of other nations, unlike those other Muslim youth groups. I am personally offended when people try to compare the two.
Hi Patricia....thought you might like to see in what this young man in Cape Cod has done for our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. He's collected and sent 1000 care packages!
