Man charged with molesting kids for 7 years

FREEHOLD -- A self-employed contractor was indicted Friday on hundreds of counts of child sex assault and child pornography after authorities said he spent years molesting children and recording them while he worked at their homes. Clement Bilski Jr., 43, is accused of preying on at least 11 girls and boys, ranging in age from 23 months to 8 years.

He abused them in their own homes between 1998 and 2005, often while caretakers were elsewhere in the houses, then offered the children toys and candy to stay quiet, said Monmouth Prosecutor Luis Valentin. "The depravity in this case has no boundaries," Valentin said.

Bilski, 43, was charged with 74 counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, 30 counts of second-degree aggravated sexual assault and 295 counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child by the manufacture of child pornography. The first-degree offenses each carry up to 20 years in prison. The charges handed up by a Monmouth County grand jury also include criminal restraint, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct. It was not immediately clear if Bilski had a lawyer.

Bilski has been in custody at the Monmouth County Jail since April 21, when he was arrested after Maryland State Police contacted their counterparts in New Jersey and reported a computer traced to Bilski was sharing child pornography over the Internet, Valentin said. At the time, he was charged with child endangerment by manufacturing and possessing videos that showed him engaging in sex with children. Bail was set at $500,000 and has since been raised to $1 million.

A search of Bilski's home in Ocean Township led authorities to seize "voluminous amounts of material from that residence," Valentin said. Authorities then focused on identifying the children in the videos, creating a task force that included members of local and state police and the prosecutor's office. Authorities said they are continuing to look for other possible victims. Bilski had lived in Long Branch since 1996 before moving to Ocean Township in April.

Valentin said Bilski for years used his carpentry skills to sequester himself inside homes where he could watch and abuse children from vantage points unseen by parents and other caregivers. "Bilski exploited his employment as a handyman to gain access to his customers' underage children," Valentin said. Bilski restrained children with ropes and handcuffs, videotaped himself abusing them and showed pornographic photos and videos to at least two of them, the prosecutor said. The suspect also secretly videotaped children "in various states of undress," Valentin said.

Not a chance. Millions will be spent on trials and appeals. No matter what he did, he'll be alive and kicking at least another decade.

It will never be reported, but I'd give odds that Bilski votes Democrat.

Too quick methinks.

And my standard razor wire/55 gal drum treatment might be too quick as well.

Since the guy was a carpenter, and carpenter use nailguns...... I say we start there and work our way up, so as to speak.

Then haul the carcass to the local pig farm.....

"Neighbor Bud Mandeville told The Star-Ledger of Newark for Friday’s newspapers that Bilski was a kind and considerate person. He recalled a time when, after completing a renovation job, Bilski cautioned Mandeville’s son to keep his 2-year-old daughter away from the paint fumes."

I guess he didn't want her passing out just before filming.

Ted Bundy volunteered at a suicide hotline.

John Wayne Gacy dressed up as a clown to entertain children.

All just a cover.

Of course. But first let the parents of these kids have some "private" time with him.
