A passing pickup truck drew loud cheers by flying a Confederate flag with the motto "The South Will Rise Again." Driven by a Lebanese guy in Green Helment...

Half of NYC lives down here now anyhow. Wonder if we can find a spot for them in New Jersey?

Reuters reports 300-400 illegals vs 500 Americans.
You know that first number was inflated and the later one under estimated.

as both sides proclaimed their loyalty to the United States. So sorry. You cannot proclaim loyalty when you break the rules of whatever it is you profess to be loyal to. That makes you NOT LOYAL. Go home!!!!

He may have been one of yalls, just trying to rile the Blacks, who have been very supportive of anti- illegal immigration.

What a bunch of crappola! The reporters were just
praying they could find some spin to show the opposing side to these illegals were "rednecks" (in New Jersey?) or something.
Perhaps someone should have made a banner out of this for them:

it's the south SHALL rise again. I bought a confederate flag at a yard sale a few years ago, thought i might never see one for sale again.

As immigration supporters accused the town's council of racism...It's the illegality, stupid.....
To: DogBarkTree
Well, just like most media, Reuters will not use the correct term for border jumpers. Reuters calls them illegal immigrants, which is an oxymoron. Illegal, is quite the opposite of an immigrant. Last time I checked, one had to do a whole slew of things to become an immigrant. If one is illegal, they are about as far away from an immigrant as I can imagine. Some folks seem to be ignorant of the value placed on words. We affix the label of IMMIGRANT, to those who come to this country legally. It just makes sense that if one does not follow those immigrant rules, they need to go back where they came from and think about the term, LEGAL. And we'll think about whether they should be allowed in our country, seeing as how they enjoy breaking the law like there's no tomorrow...
