Before takeoff, Karr took a glass of champagne from a flight attendant and clinked glasses with Spray, who sipped orange juice.
Dinner on board, served on a starched white tablecloth, was one many passengers would envy. Karr started with a pate, then had a green salad with walnut dressing. The main course was fried king prawn with steamed rice and broccoli. Karr drank a beer, crushing the can with his hands when it was empty, then moved on to a glass of French chardonnay with his main course.

As Karr wined and dined in style and chatted with the three U.S. officials escorting him, another bombshell emerged: Reports that Karr sought treatment at a Thai sex-change clinic.Well, let's get him started on that ... Bobbit, Lorena Bobbit, please pick up the white courtesy phone ...

And was probably snickering to himself the whole way home. No jail time in Taiwan and he will be dismissed as a looney here in the states and his confession tossed. Can we send him back to Taiwan via freighter steerage?

Taiwan?

Shouldn't this guy be fed a diet of bread and water?
The lunatics appear to be running the asylum.

Here's my question. Instead of springing this guy from that Thai hellhole jail and flying him back to Boulder first class - which is exactly what he wants - why didn't the Boulder PD just send one of their CSIs over there to take a swab, check it against the DNA sample from the murder scene, and find out whether he was really there or not? If his confession was a lie, just leave him to serve his time as another short eyes on the yard at Bangkok prison. Sheesh how hard is that?

I wonder who is paying for these Business Class accommodations? I don't begrudge it if for no other reason than the police officer escorting him deserves it. But if Karr is telling the truth on this then I hope he enjoyed the pate' and the grilled prawns and the wine and the beer. Where he's heading he isn't likely to see anything better than mystery meat for the rest of his natural life.

Oops, you're right, my bad.
However, Confucius say man who go through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok.

This has been such a screwed up story from the beginning, I will withhold judgement for a few days to see if the story changes.
The next thing you know we will be told all he had on the plane was a bag of peanuts.

I read that he has been convicted in absentia in the US for 5 counts of child porn. He is unlikely to serve time for the Ramsey case, but he will serve time in Federal custody on the child porn charges.

I though Thai Food was all the Rage in America.
He could have lived like a SOHO Yuppie dining on Thai prison Food every day for the rest of his life in Bangkok.
