It would be useful if the MNF would at least attempt to identify and report the source of such munitions.

Pre-war Iraqi?
New?
Iranian? Syrian? DNC?

All of the above.

Ought to bring some of that home and put it up along the southern border.

Iraq has more hidden weaponry than East Tennessee.

Hey, don't forget South Texas - we're ready for Santa Anna this time.

For the record Dumpster babe.... A mister Demster in Knoxville, East Tennessee, invented the Dumpster. It was patented as the Dempster Dumpster and was all alone till the patents ran out and others could glom on his idea.

By extrapolation, you owe your screen name to East Tennessee

The 172nd SBCT (from Alaska) was deployed all along the Syrian border and in Mosul before being redeployed to Baghdad. Our group of troops supporter was sending care packages to several locations along the Syrian border, including COP Rawah.

The Stryker Brigade out of Ft Lewis, Washington, has taken their place in Mosul, etc. while the Artic Wolves are on the hunt in Baghdad.

Great news and all our guys aren't even there yet!

Some of them left yesterday to go back (just reporting what has already been in the news.)

Merry Band of Patriots Ping.

My nephew, who is a sourdough (Alaskan born and raised), mentioned that the 172nd is, of course, big news there now.

He gave a couple of i-pods to a couple wives to send to their husbands, one of whom is in A company.

So, looks like the State of Alaska is rallying to these soldiers, too.
