Of that, the mint promises to donate $5 to “official 9/11 family charities and memorials.”As I said in the post, people can decide what to waste their money on for themselves. I think this is grave robbing.The company can easily afford to be so cynically charitable. The Journal News newspaper had the precious metals analyzed and discovered they were worth about 32 cents.
Nobody's robbing anybody anymore than numerous other advertising gimmicks are....the customers are willingly buying them.
