They don't seem to have kept the property owner in the loop on this project. He doesn't seem to think anything is happening.

They want to watch out for property owners. Generally, they like to be kept informed about plans for things on their property.

Simcox, et al, are going to look a little funny if this property owner tells 'em to take a hike.

If property owners are sick of invaders cutting their cattle barriers, polluting their lands and streams, leaving their water spigots open and their families living in fear of wierdos appearing unexpectedly they have every right to put up effective barriers on their own. The problem is that the Mexican cartels have pressured most of them to leave their properties insecure or suffer the wrath of their hitmen paying a social visit.

Simcox's group should be applauded for their efforts but they're strictly meant as a symbolic goad to get our government to secure the border PER IT'S RESPONSABILITY.
