Anyone have the point by point GOP vs. DNC party planks?
Posted on 08/18/2006 5:51:05 PM PDT by TexasPatriot8
FReepers ALWAYS have what I'm looking for, so I'm sure someone here will in short order. My wife is trying to chip away at her nutjob "Christian" Democrat parents and their life-long addiction to the Democrat Party and she wants a complete set of the GOP and DNC party planks to show them, official ones from websites. We know most of it by heart but that's not the same as an actual referenced copy with source cited. If someone has both that are in basically the same structured layout that would be great. Thanks very much. :)

GOP has points but the Dems are pointless.

all you need is the Republican Plank... the RAT plank is simply 180degrees away from it.

The Dems have no planks. They just hate Bush and America, and live to criticize everyone who is actually working to solve a problem and to second guess.
They are the party of I-told-you-so Monday morning quarterbacks.

I guess that's why I couldn't find it anywhere, the libs are scared to put it anywhere on hard copy so it can't be used as proof of how screwd up the DNC is and sway their few remaining rational voters. :) If anyone does manage to find a recent version of the DNC party plank, let me know. Thanks. :)

Ah, thank you. They did actually have the nerve to put it down huh? :) Is that the same as the national DNC plank?

The Official DNC Party Plank:
1)Bush Sucks.
2)Bush Lied.
3)Bush listened in on my phone.
4)Bush caused Katrina.
5)Bush caused 9/11.
6)Bush wont meet Cindy again.
7)Bush likes Lieberman.
8)Bush knew Ken Lay.
9)Bush wont let terrorists out of Gitmo.
10)Bush believes in God.

The only thing I've been able to find is the GOP will do what it takes to keep America secure. The 'RATS are going to do what it takes to make you "feel" secure.

Good Lord, after looking at that site it's such a joke. Pages and pages of rambling vagueries but they never come fflat out and say what the Democrat party REALLY stands for. It doesn't say "we support abortion", they just talk about supporting women's rights to do this and that. They don't say "we support gay marriage". They just say they support diversity and ALL families. And on an don. What a load of crap. Talk about glaring differences. The GOP plank is direct, concise, and to the point, leaving NO doubt where the GOP stands on the major issues. The the Democrats have to keep it as vague as possible, because they know most Americans don't support their beliefs, and that Texas Democrats site had the audacity to mention God several times. Democrats don't want anything to do with God and they get offended anytime Republicans consult or reference God in their decision making. What a crock.
Is that Texas Democrat site reflective of the national DNC plank? It's the biggest bunch of non-specific vague gobbldygook I've ever seen, pages and pages of rambling. They speak much, but say little. It's hard to even get a point from all that text. Most of it is just inoccuoous double speak that on the face of it, EVERY American believes in it. You have to read on forever to get to something that most Americans would be turned off by and it's so much word play you have to read it several times to find that you really don't agree with it. I think Bill Clinton helped them write that.

That's a lot closer to what they really belive than the pages and pages of vague rambling crap that's on that Texas Democrat web site. When it takes ten or more full pages to just get to the point and say what someone most believes, there's some SERIOUS deceiving going on.

Ah excellent. :) Thank you. :) They live on the Arkansas side of Texarkana and I am on the Texas side. They're old tired yellow-dog Democrats not interrested in fact or anything anyone has to say unless they're on CNN or the network news. Literally. No kidding. It's like talking to a brick wall. They're impossible.
