ALTHOUGH it is not clear who won the battle of southern Lebanon, the conflict is unlikely to have advanced America's standing in the propaganda battle. Television pictures this week showed a banner over the rubble of a Lebanese building saying "Made in the USA".
An article in The New Yorker by the award-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh alleges that the US was aware of, and approved, Israel's plans before the start of the war on July 12. The article has gained wide currency in the Middle East - not surprising, given the closeness of the US and its chief ally in the Middle East.

"Made in the Islamic Middle East"
Are we suppose to be impressed by this?
Oops, there went your credibility, Markie.
Yeah, yeah, so you can type faster than I can. 8^)
That goes for Iraq or Lebanon.
Seymour Hersh's informants, and their passing of office rumors demonstrate why a thorough housecleaning is needed at State and DOD. What he reports is always third hand from his informants and most of what they report is gossip from what someone overheard in conversations about "possibilities" between people two and three times removed from actual policy decisions.
Yeah, so? Maybe now everyone will understand they are messing with the world's owner of the most weapons.

Agreed. Its time to admit this is a religous war. Islam advocates the subjigation of infidels.
The western world is to civilized for its own good. Too fat and happy to defend itself from slaughter.
Hersh was on CNN last week demanding a congressional investigation into the Bush admin. (Cheney and Neocon's -- Neocon is code for Jews), backing of Israel. Hersh said his sources said Bush was less in favor of giving Israel the go-ahead, but Cheney was behind it.)
You want "Made in the USA?". I'll show you "Made in the USA".
His argument and the evidence against it is on this thread:

The Islamonazis deserve far more than Dresden got.
Get rid of Iran and Syria will will change in a real hurry.
Hiroshima after
lol. The title, at any rate, is correct. The word 'war' barely begins to describe it. See my blog in tagline.
I still can't get my head around those pictures...that attack...and those bastards praying to mecca all over this city, just to piss us off.
