I had an interesting conversation with an immigrant, now a US citizen, from Taiwan. He said GW is a 'simple man', and it wasn't a compliment. Attacking here, there, and everywhere after 9/11, when we should have 'taken time to let diplomacy work'. He thinks our big problem is the treaty with Japan, which says we come to their aid. (He's terrified of China. And Russia, he said, 'don't forget Russia.') We should abrogate that treaty, then North Korea could shoot missiles from now until New Years, and we wouldn't care since none of their missiles can hit the US. Well, maybe Hawaii and Alaska, but what the heck. He thinks the EU will handle their Muslim problem in time. All it takes is wise heads and diplomacy. We should take a page from Kerry's book and climb into bed with the EU. They know what's what. He can't wait for Kerry to run again. His wife, thank God, is made of sterner stuff and is a conservative. Also from Taiwan and now a citizen, she voted for GW.

If you want to maintain British values, you had better stop muslim immigration, or soon, British values will derive directly from the koran. If you continue to pour red paint over white, soon the white will be gone.

And muslims do not have to achieve a majority in Britain to create chaos. Recent events show that a small group can cause major disruption.

The west needs to get over the stupidly aloof idea that muslims are immigrating to the west because it is a better place. No, they are coming here to spread their vile culture & religion, & they consider their culture to be far superior to any in the west. They think they are doing us a favor, while we think we are doing them a favor by letting them come over here. Neither is right.

The shoe is on the other foot now. For centuries, the west colonized foreign lands & attempted to force their culture on the natives. Westerners could never understand why the natives resisted so fiercely an "obviously" superior culture. This is how muslims feel now. Why should they assimilate into what they consider an inferior culture? That's a ridiculous idea. Better that we should change to suit them. This is how the muslim leaders can say the things they do with a straight face - they truly believe it.

Take jihad as an example. Basically, convert 'em or kill 'em. Jihad is as moral to a muslim as compassion is to a Christian. Yet murder for religious differences is considered a heinous crime in the west.

No cultural compromises can be made with jihad, subordination of women & non-muslims, polygamy, racism, free speech (heresy), etc. We just spent the last 1000 years struggling to rid ourselves of these failed ideologies. And now we invite it into our countries in droves, hail our diversity & multiculturalism, & are shocked to discover the immigrants have no intention of lowering themselves by accepting inferior customs, especially multiculturalism.

But, can't we just all get along? No, sometimes we can't. That's why communal living is not very popular.

Ah, the mythical moderate muslim. Analysts keep saying this, but never do point one out. I suspect all the moderate muslims in the world could fit into a teacup. And being so few in number, they are hardly representative of muslims in general, & have ZERO influence on their community.
