President Bush's words would carry a great deal more authority now if he would have closed our borders when first we went to war.

"FISA judges say Bush within law"http://washingtontimes.com/national/20060329-120346-1901r.htm
A panel of former Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judges yesterday told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that President Bush did not act illegally when he created by executive order a wiretapping program conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA).

...I instructed the Justice Department to appeal immediately... Ahem. George, the Supreme Court is the highest court in the land. All appeals stop there.
Perhaps he plans to continue to operate outside of Constitutional authority.

"The judge said the government, in defending the program, appeared to be saying the president had the "inherent power" to violate laws of Congress."
Wrong, judge, it is YOU who are claiming the inherent right to ignore wide precedent and Article II of the US Constitution. Neither a raving leftist Carter-leftover appointee like you nor the Carter-era Congress has the right to abrogate executive war-making powers enunciated in the US Constitution. No matter how many times you liberal weasels repeat the same talking points, they're still wrong.

All of a sudden, these POS left-wing pukes suddenly care about the Constitution when the evil Republican is President. Clinton used the Constitution as toilet paper and "judges" such as Diggs were nowhere to be found.

FISA is a rubber stamp. Also, you can start your surveillance immediately and wait up to three days to even apply for a FISA warrant. I have yet to hear a single, solitary reason why this administration felt the need to circumvent the FISA law. Can anybody give me one?

Bush defends surveillance program.............
of course, he's the "decider"

"I strongly disagree with that decision, strongly disagree," Bush said, striking his finger on a podium to underscore his point. "That's why I instructed the Justice Department to appeal immediately, and I believe our appeals will be upheld."
Prayers up for that.. How the hell can some idiot district judge have the power to put this Nation in jeopardy from the very people we are in a war with?? Also, where is the GOP, they should be shouting from the rooftops.

We need to send plane loads of liberals on a FREE trip, all expenses paid to IRAQ and drop them into Baghdad. Announce in advance to local kidnappers of their coming. THEN, they'll realize what we are dealing with.
