Bunch of bad asses who raised turmoil 1970s through the 1990s. Was HQ'd in Lebanon for a time, almost defunct now. Since most of the terrorist orgs have received training from the PLO and in Lebanon, that got me thinking.
I went to the Dept. of State website and looked up the current Foreign Terrorist Organizations list, then did a search for those based in or with operations in Lebanon. Nice hornet's nest there:
- Abu Nidal Organization
- Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade
- Al-Jihad
- Al-Zarqawi Network
- Asbat al-Ansar
- Hamas
- Hezbollah
- Palestine Liberation Front
- Palestinian Islamic Jihad
- Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
- Popular Front for the Lieberation of Palestine - General Command
- Revolutionary Peoples Liberation Party
