England is still shaking its head in disbelief over the terror plot that its anti-terror police were able to thwart. 24 suspects were arrested in connection with the plan to smuggle liquid explosives on planes from United, American and Continental Airlines. A neighbor of one of the suspects asked, If you truly believed in God, you wouldnt go out and do that kind of thing. Its all about peace, isnt it? Well, no, actually its not. Its about victory and supremacy; and its about time that we realize this fact. All religions are not equal, all religions do not lead to God, and all religions do not promote peace. It is this very naïve, pluralistic approach that is allowing terrorism to flourish.
We need to begin to view our churches as boot-camps and armament centers, instead of rest homes and hospitals.

The irony is (of course) that Islam's false eschatology may usher in the true Christian one.
Amen
Is the title correct? I would think it's more relavent as "Scatology of Islam".
That's what I first thought of when I saw the title.
The branch of theology that is concerned with the end of the world or of humankind.
A belief or a doctrine concerning the ultimate or final things, such as death, the destiny of humanity, the Second Coming, or the Last Judgment.
Ok. I had to look it up.
Unfortunately, most of the people in the western world still do not understand this FACT.
The one core value of western liberals is: Tolerance.
For some strange reason the liberals can even tolerate Islamic insanity. In their view, Muslim hate is somehow "our fault", especially Jews, Christians, and George Bush. and Freepers, of course :)
The one thing liberals cannot tolerate is: Christianity.
We Pray.
They slay.
Reminds me of a quote offered by another FR member which goes something like this: "Tolerance is the last virtue of a decadent society".
Tolerance is not virtuous. Some things (behaviors) should not be tolerated.
Christian eschatology has been in the process of being realized since the time of Christ and His apostles.
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds" (Heb. 1)
Jesus Christ is the focus of our eschatology. "In Him we live and move and have our being." The outworking of that eschatology is the establishment of Christ's kingdom by the spiritual conversion of the nations. He is in the process of turning the nations into His footstool.
We must not loose sight of that by adopting a worldview that includes fleshly scenarios built up with military and political options.
Thats if they do not out breed us....
The misimpression that God weighs good deeds against bad deeds and people who are more "good" than "bad" thereby "get into heaven" is one of most common teachings of false religions, including Islam.
That's what wars and Crusades are for: population control.
I do not know about you but have you noticed the increase of Islamic Mosques in your neck of the woods?
Grand Ayatollah Khamenei on Hezbollah:
"Your unprecedented holy war and steadfastness are beyond the limits of my description. It's a divine victory. It is a victory of Islam," Khamenei said in the message read by an announcer on Hezbollah's Al-Manar television.

Isn't it all about peace?
This is a result of the "Islam means 'peace'" lie that even our President has helped spread. There is also this idea around that Christianity is solely concerned with peace, to the point that Christians (and Jews) cannot even defend themselves. It seems liberals can't get it right about any religion.
There are a few small storefront mosques in this area, but nothing major.
Here's the "mosque finder"...

But they're catching on...Just a couple years ago you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who realized what Izlam was up to...
