I was in Cozumel this last December, and I did some diving as an excursion. Everyone I came into contact with was warm and friendly including anyone I casually came into contact with. Mexican people are good people, and they are a welcome ethnicity to our melting pot of a country, but only when done in the framework of existing immigration laws. Both sides of my family were immigrants in the early part of the 20th century, so I welcome new immigrants. While Hispanics should be very proud of their heritage, they must understand that complete immersion in our language and culture is central to our homology as the melting pot nation. To do otherwise undermines our ability to speak as one people.

Spelling on next to last sentence should be 'steered' instead of stirred. Spell check doesn't work for the wrong word!!

To be honest, I never checked that site's home page so I really don't know what they're about. Someone posted the link to the page with the running illegal totals and that's what I bookmarked.
But I did read where and how they arrive at the numbers and those seemed legit.

You undercut your entire argument by framing it in terms of ethnicity. Are Hispanics the problem or illegal immigrants? I think there's a huge difference.Agreed. The Hispanic side of my family adores this nation and our children will grow to be loving patriots if we can help it. So far, so good...

THANK YOU!
If we want something done, we need to get that distinction figured out and FAST.

Illegals PERIOD. I don't want illegal Canadians or Frenchmen here either.
