AN American schoolteacher accused of murdering six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey in the US in 1996 has told police in Thailand that the girl died accidentally from an overdose of chloroform he administered before raping her. A senior Thai police official said that under questioning in Bangkok, Karr said he had chloroformed the child so he could rape her in the basement of her home in Boulder, Colorado.
“He told us that after sex he realised he had accidentally killed her,” said General Suwat Tumrongsiskul, director of immigration police. “He also told us that they loved each other. She was 'his' beauty queen.”

I agree with you, 100%. There is NOWAY this DA, after 10 years of the Boulder PD and DA's office taking it on the chin, would spend the time and resources to get the FBI and ICE involved to pick up a guy 1/2 way across the world without some damned good solid evidence.
When you also consider California has open arrest warrants against him and Colorado was able to get their arrest done first, that tells me something.

Yeah, Team Ramsey is a whirling vortex that only exists for one purpose. When John kicks the bucket, I don't know what they'll do with themselves.
Better yet, what about when he remarries, like real soon? That should make them see that *they* are the only ones on John's "team," he isn't even on it.

I've been wondering if this might be some of the evidence they've kept to themselves, as LE always does on open cases.

Because of the suspected violent application of a volatile compound and to avoid a loss of tissue concentration the samples for toxicological investigations were taken at the very beginning of the autopsy. The detailed results showed that a chloroform poisoning has been the only cause of death.
There's no doubt this guy is a real piece of work. I'm not putting money that he's the actual killer - I do believe he knows who did it and probably has evidence/information to back that up.
Or, he's smarter then we're giving him credit for. You sexually assault a 6 yr old little girl, you've got outstanding warrants for arrest on child porn and molestation charges..you're well educated. Innocent by reason of insanity or guilty by instanity is so much nicer then the death penalty.
Begin by acting "nuts", get the world convinced you're a fruitcake...taint the jury pool etc. I mean, the guy is educated, he's a pedophile who are VERY good at tricking people and hiding their crimes. I wouldn't put it past him.
I am still unconvinced that this weird little man is the murderer. I will be surprised if he did the horrible deed in this case. I will stick to my guns and wait in doubt, even in the face of all the news stories that work to proclaim the case solved.
I'm no expert, but I thought you could easily get a sample from things like a toothbrush or hair sample. After all, they sometimes get the sample from victims that they compare to from a strand hair, or even dried saliva.
Wouldn't it be funny if the police used his obsession with Jonbenet, just to get him back to the states, so that he could at last be prosecuted for the child porn stuff?
That is probably an extraditable offence but I doubt they put that much effort (extradiction or a 'sting' like this) into a simple possession charge.
This is almost like the Duke rape case at this point. So much doesn't add up yet you have to think the LEOs got a lot more than what has been made public so far.

Whoever wrote it, knew exactly the amount that Ramsey got for a bonus that year. How would Karr know this info?
How would he have had the patience to sit there and write and write and write, without fear of being found, a stranger in the house, after he had murdered that poor little girl, whom he now claims he loves; especially if it was an "accident"?
How would he have known where to find the pad, the pen, or anything else, that was used?
How did he get into the house? And don't tell me through the basement window! There was snow on the ground and NO footprints there.
Yes, it would show up in liver, tissue and lungs, maybe nasal or sinus passages.
I don't think he did it. I think he's a stone cold loony, though. I also think he moves and looks like a homo. He is bizarre, that is for sure.

I have a little theory, although I'm not wedded to it.
Supposedly he told his father back in 2001 that he was arrested for the murder of Jonbenet. He also wrote Patsy Ramsey a few months ago that he killed her. He's obviously a pedophile. He's obsessed with the case. Maybe he has a compulsion to kill a child and knows it and is doing this to get himself off the streets. He may well believe he killed her.
What I'm interested in learning is how the Boulder DA's office tracked him to Thailand.
Internet cafe's are the norm in Bangkok or Thailand. Tourists use them to stay in touch with family and friends while on holiday. I always use the same one or two locations when I am there. It costs about 1 thb per minute or 2 cents a minute.
