Just checked...
It appears they have lost over $3bil in stock value.
It doesn't compare to the DotCom loss, but $3bil is still more than I have.

I think I can extrapolate an upward trend from the past few days data. Sort of like predicting global warming trends. Those are called death throes.

Talking about the U.S. government spending when it was around $500 bil a year!
We have had deficits that large!
Where are the good Senators when we need them?

At the current rate of stock decline, the new NY Slimes headquarters building should be finished just in time for their bankruptcy presser.

I wonder what the dates for those spikes in the sell volume correspond to.

Spot on! I sincerely hope they go broke. Our local paper - The San Antonio Express-News - is in a similar predicament. Among my friends it is regarded as an archaic dinosaur with nothing but inbred "journalist," i.e, loony leftist liberals. One is not enough, they have libs everywhere. They throw in a token conservative now and then but it is quite clear that they are tolerated rather than warmly embraced. The late Malcolm Muggeridge had it right: "There is something, to me, very sinister about this emergence of a weird kind of conformity, or orthodoxy, particularly among people who operate the media, so that you can tell in advance exactly what they will say and think about anything." Just so! The Express-News, like the New York Times could save themselves a great deal of money by firing about half of their opinion writers. They are basically an undifferentiated mass of liberals, all alike, with the same inane opinions, in short, lemmings of the worst sort. A pox on them all.

Last time NYT was this low (price wise) was 09/16/1997, $21.54 adjusted for dividends etc....working on a 9 year low.
As a newspaper, I don't know if it has ever been lower than it is now.

They would rather go broke than to say one positive word about this country. Never forget, they are the enemy.
