Muslims are not, neccesarily.
The Anglo-American strategy, quite wisely, is to distinguish between the two.
The Islamofascist strategy is to blur the difference.

Disnguishing between the two is like distinguishing between the Nazis and the German industrialists who fed on Nazism.
Naive.
Whether "moderate" or not, they have the same goal... turn Dar Al Harb (the world at war) into Dar Al Islam (the world which has submitted to the will of Allah). They are warriors in the same fight employing different methods. I will believe I am wrong when I can be shown the list of "moderates" who have turned in the "extremists" in their midsts at the local mosque--before they attack.
The "moderates" know who the "extremists" are (just as the neighborhood kids know who the drug dealers are) and yet plead ignorance when they are confronted.
Truth? Ask the Imam yourself.
Yes, they are. If they profess a religion that exhorts its believers to indiscriminately slaughter non-believers, then they are either active terrorists or apprentices.
The Anglo-American strategy, quite wisely, is to distinguish between the two.
There is no value in focusing on distinctions that make no difference. All Muslims are terrorists to one degree or another. They have to be to be Muslims.
The Islamofascist strategy is to blur the difference.
The Muslim strategy is to pretend that there IS a dfference, thereby safeguarding a potential pool of recruits and fifth columnists who can live within a victim society and plot their murders under the protection of the very society they condemn.
