If it was a mosque that produced what we normally expect from Islam: - beautiful, giving people: generous and warm, who form a valuable part of society - then this looks like ill-informed arson from a non-muslim, or well-informed arson from an radical sect.
If however it was a mosque or madrassa that produced hate-filled human bombs, freeway snipers and SUV Mall-Warriors - then burning it down would be an act of self-defence.
