The Caliphate of Detroit? I thought only the 1st District had jurisdiction in cases like this? Obviously it will be appealed and stayed for national security reasons while under appeal.

America does not have the will to survive. That's what this will mean to me, if this stands.
I want to hear what Mark Levin has to say about this.

Federal Judges ruled lots of stuff that Lincoln did unconstitutional too. This is a national crisis. The President should assert hid prerogative to ignore the judge.

Get this, from:
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060817/D8JI9A281.html
"The American Civil Liberties Union filed the lawsuit on behalf of journalists, scholars and lawyers who say the program has made it difficult for them to do their jobs. They believe many of their overseas contacts are likely targets of the program, which involves secretly taping conversations between people in the U.S. and people in other countries."
So, are they saying their overseas contacts are terrorists?

The Judge is
Anna Diggs Taylor, a Carter appointee. She has a strong civil rights background. The ACLU filed the case. The ACLU got lucky. 'Nuff said. The decision will not stand on appeal.

Irrelevant. The New York Times already ruled it useless by printing a story on it.
