Unless someone can tell me the importance of memorizing judges' names.

If a person follows the news to a reasonable degree, they should know at least some of the judge's names as a matter of course. If they don't know, that means they are not paying attention and if they are not paying attention...we get the kind of politicians we have today. Not knowing the three branches of government....there is no excuse for that.

Nobody is saying that everyone should have memorized every name, but even paying casual attention to the news should develop some familiarity with at least a few of the Justices. Especially after we just had two recent replacements. Failure to pay attention indicates lack of information, which ought to preclude an individual from voting. By definition, you are incapable of making informed decisions if you are not informed.
