>>>They dressed their child up to look like a hooker <<<
The pictures I saw of her, dressed as you say, was when she was performing in recitals.
I guess you are not familiar with dance--- jazz, tap, ballet..that is how they dress for recitals.

That phraseology is strange. He was 'with' her. He doesn't say he actually killed her. Either he is trying to distance himself, psychologically, from her murder, or he and JonBenet were not the only ones there. If he gets a good lawyer, that 'admission' could be twisted any number of ways in a courtroom. From the article: "Suwat quoted Karr as saying he tried to kidnap JonBenet for a $118,000 ransom but that his plan went awry and he strangled her."

Two comments on this:
First, I've been involved in dance before and I have seen photos where little Jon Benet was dressed in garb that was not dance garb. So that is no excuse.
Second, you are right that the way a lot of people dress their little girls for dance recitals today is vulgar.
And it's inappropriate and wrong.

I hope not. The DA just stepped in a basically put a lid on it.

You should have seen my five year old dressed up like a black cat for tap. She look adorable. My other daughter dressed up like Shirley Temple-very short skirt. and sang On the good ship lolli pop. This not sexual for normal men.

Good.

He could have been stalking the family just as that guy who killed the family and abducted the two kids recently. He killed the boy. The girl was rescued. He might have been in the house previously and nosed around in the mail. The Ramseys felt safe and didn't set theit alarm that often. They came from Marietta Ga. Most of us don't lock our doors-very quiet.

I am sick of hearing about the pagents angle. In the south where I live pagents are very common. I see nothing wrong with them. Plenty of my friends do pagents. There girls really enjoy them. I don't do pagents because my girls are more tomboyish and not interested. There is nothing wrong with Beauty Pagents.

I saw a disturbing post on my space where a teacher at a private Christian school wanted to 'seduce' his students-'awaken them to sexuality gently'. I sent it to the FBI. Kids are safe no where these days.

1. If you were actually involved in dance before??? On stage you wear very heavy make-up in order to give definition to your face and so it doesn't come off.
2. The parents don't pick out the costumes..those outfits are chosen by the dance instructors which are ordered through catalog and are picked according to the music they will be performing to. Every costume is picked out to emphasize certain movements and basically they are the theme. Also leotards are worn under the costumes SO NOBODY GETS A PEEP SHOW.
3. Even during instruction classes they have a strict uniform (only leotards and tights) so instructors can see areas where there is need for needed improvement and pupils movement.
Vulgarity and inappropriateness is in the eye of the beholder

OK,
My two cents is that a 6 year old girl should look like a little girl, not like a 20 year old hooker....and most of JB's pictures are disgustingly sleazy.
And yes, I teach dance and I make sure my 'girls' look like 'girls'....even if the 12 year old has 36 C cups, she's still dressed age appropriate.
Jon Benet, god love the child, looked like a perves dream date.
