Call to the Convention Letter by Chairman Duf Sundheim
The Summer 2006 Convention at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles is rapidly approaching and you won't want to miss it. Governor Schwarzenegger heads the program, but that is just the beginning. Governor Romney, one of the leading candidates for the 2008 Presidential election, our excellent slate of statewide candidates, and other events insure the convention will be a national level event.
The last three years have been some of the most successful in the history of the California Republican Party. This November's election will determine whether that period was an aberration or a turning point.
The road to victory in '06 has four main objectives:
Re-elect Governor Schwarzenegger;
Elect our statewide candidates for constitutional officers;
Protect and pick up seats in the legislature; and
Continue to cultivate and develop the people and techniques to win elections in 2008 and beyond How we meet these objectives will be outlined at this convention. Make sure you don't miss out and pre-register for the convention today.
Thank you for your service and dedication our Party.
It is an honor to serve as your Chairman,
Duf Sundheim, Chairman California Republican Party

Bunch of pussies.
Sorry, and RINOs.
Press 1 for English
Why do they even bother with English?
We have a GOP party in this state....who knew.
: )
I've heard rumors that in 2012 they plan on running someone with a pulse for the Senate, but I've heard these types of rumors before. The state party leadership has, for the past year, brought out a strong desire for them to be relocated to New Orleans, preferably back in mid August, last year.
: ) : )
All the best to you. Have a good time.
Now quit reading... LOL.
I appreciate what folks are meeting to discuss, but I've got to those who aren't something. If heads are not lopped off at this convention, if the course of the RP in California is not changed, if conservatism doesn't come off any better than it has of late, I sincerely hope the attendees will do us a favor.
Cancel the damned convention and we can all give each other high fives and act as if something really big happened.
Everyone knows it won't. Why go through all the expense?
Hey, no primary, no special candidates to discuss. Everything is set for this November's election, but getting the vote out. Sheesh, you need a whole convention to do that?
Break out last year's rubber stamps and go to work. Call the whole thing off. It's a waste of time.
The RP in California would do well to shoot itself in the head. Quit going for the foot, the arm, the leg, just get it overwith and put us all out our misery.
One nice thing about the convention, the RP agenda can't get much worse in this state.
Well, I guess we should chalk this up to my poor attitude. I'm sure it's time to start thinking about the next actor to run. Perhaps someone related to the Baldwin's would be a step up. LOL

Now that does sound cool! :-)
That's the road to more hardcore leftwing Democrat appointments.
"That's the road to more hardcore leftwing Democrat appointments."
You must be talking about Angelides. Surely you don't prefer Angelides to Arnold.
You must be talking about Angelides
No, I was talking about Arnold.
