A creature that was found dead after apparently being hit by a car in Turner, Maine, is shown Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006. For the past 15 years, residents across Androscoggin County have reported seeing and hearing a mysterious animal with chilling monstrous cries and eyes that glow in the night. Now, residents are wondering if the animal found dead over the weekend may be the mysterious creature that has mauled dogs, frightened residents and been the subject of local legend for half a generation. maybe its an ROUS
Mutant? Mutt more like it, maybe even a Wolf hybrid. But a Mutant??????.
Pour him a shot of whiskey and he'll come around. It's only Teddie.....
How Lovecraftian!
Its the Jersey Devil!
I'd guess it is a purebred Chow, with genetic defects or pituitary tumor... I have Chows, and if you cross Chows with other breeds the blue lips and tongue are generally mottled with pink. The general shortened features of the face and trunk suggest acromegaly/GH producing tumor or one of a variety of genetic defects...
The only thing that looks odd to me are the eyes.
They're not sunk in the socket like a dog's but actually pertrude from the socket.
Helen Thomas is dead?
Looks like the werewolf in the Stephen King movie "Silver Bullet"
Androscoggin County
With a name like that, the county's bound to have some strange critters in it...And don't forget, it didn't drop out of the sky...It's got to have a mommy and daddy there somewhere...
Just a feral mongrel dog.
A few moments of silence for the late Flying Purple People Eater:
Resume.
Kim Jong Il wants this critter for supper. Roasted road kill. Yum Yum.
it's the missing link! - ha ha ha
It's a chow, OK? Jeeze.
Looks like there’s a little human DNA in there...
