I haven't heard Cher say much about the war, but she's fighting for better helmets for our troops. That tells me a lot more about her than some "ad" ever could!

A friend of mine, who is no kind of celebrity, knows Cher. He says she is the most nice, down to earth person you'd want to meet, with no star complex. He also says that in contrast to her stage appearance she's only about 5"3" tall.

Nice to hear about celebrities who don't have hyper-inflated egos. They seem so few and far between! Never would have guessed she was only 5'3......she certainly stands a lot taller than most other celebrities for her efforts for the troops!
