Senate Passes Border Fencing Amendment
On Wednesday, August 2, the Senate overwhelmingly approved an amendment to the FY 07 Department of Defense appropriations bill (H.R. 5631) that would appropriate $1.8 billion for the construction of border fencing and vehicle barriers along the southern border.
