I can understand developing a hatred which could build into irrationality over the tax code, or money-grubbing politicians, or red light cameras, or Islamic fundamentalist terrorists, or deadbeat citizens, or illegal immigration, or even fluoride in the water.

But smokers and tobacco?

I just don't get it. It is pure hysteria.
