WASHINGTON, Aug. 15, 2006 The federal governments duty is to protect the American people, and the work being done at the National Counterterrorism Center is doing just that, President Bush said today.
I want to thank all the people in this building and around our government who spend an incredible amount of time and energy and effort to do a very difficult job, and that's to protect the American people, Bush told the nations counterterrorism team at the centers headquarters in McLean, Va. |
