Actually, we were trying to do comprehensive immigration reform, and it wasn't only GOP fanatical anti-immigration forces that killed it - it was the Dems.
The irony of this is that the very same Dems who produced this ad are the ones who want illegals to be able to vote early and often, receive welfare doled out by Dem organizations, etc. Things are fine for the Dems as they are; the Dems just want a little tweaking so their constituency can vote. Well, most of them probably already do, but the Dems are getting tired of cranking out that false ID.
There's a difference between immigrants and illegals. To ignore that difference is an insult to almost every immigrant in this nation.
One of the strangest political ads I have ever seen. It implies that terrorist attacks, Osama, Kim il etc will disappear if the Dems regain power.
