Have a wonderful time hope you get some lovely photos - love to see them on your return. I'll try to get some good ones, though cameras are not allowed in some places, particularly the White House. Also, you have FReepmail. (I was looking for a picture you might have).

Nevermind about the Freepmail. Looks like your response crisscrossed with my post.

TONY SNOW IS AWESOME!!!! Bears repeating!
We've all loved Tony already, but he's such a shining star for the President, and that endears him to me all the more.

The turnaround in these WH pressers is incredible since he took over.
Instead of the media morons controlling the show, Tony wraps them around his little finger.
He is so in charge! I LOVE it!

Very neat photo of the day! His suit doesn't look at all brown in that photo, though! I had to go back to see if these were both really the same day.
Thanks for your work, Ohio. I appreciate it, as always.

Is this a first time to DC trip? Yes. Unless you count a layover flight in Dulles International, and all I got to see there was the inside of the airport.
In fact, it's the first time I've EVER gone somewhere on vacation. It's going to be an awesome time.
On that note, it is almost ten o'clock. Must get ice cream.

So did he do anything in particular today that was outstanding? I have been a huge TS fan for a number of years (I think everyone knows this!)--and am so glad he has the position he does now!

"Thank you so much for that link to Michael Gerson's tremendous article. I would have missed it as I never read Newsweak anymore!"
I RARELY read it myself; however, now that Gerson has 'signed on' as a semi-regular 'contributor'I may have to glance at it once in awhile!

". .. not only did I relish every word of Norman Podhoretz's article this morning, I subscribed to Commentary after I finished reading it."
I may actually do the same . . . This is the second scholarly 'masterpiece' that Mr. Podhoretz has written in the last 12 months -- I'm becoming a BIG fan!

Nothing in particular......just the way he commands the room, quickly answers questions, and nails the leftists to the wall.
I think the questions are tending to be more civil because they know he'll bite their heads off with his wit and intelligence if they get out of line. :)
