We (my friend, myself, and our 3 kids) went to a local U-Pick place and we're planning on going back one more time before school starts. When blueberries are $8 a pound in the supermarket, I'm will to drive 40 miles or so and spend a couple hours picking.....at 75cents a pound, you better believe it.

Plums, peaches, and pears are all 50cents a pound and apples range from 15-50 cents a pound.

PYO is ALWAYS more fun.

We go pick everything that is in season.

I just tried planting a few bushes. After the birds started coming, I was going to net the bushes; but my kids wanted the birds in the yard. So I let them enjoy the show.
