"Many Muslims"?
Don't they mean ALL MUSLIMS?
Although I am pretty hard on Islam, I don't believe all Muslims are necessarily in support of religious war. It is those who have moved away from the core beliefs of Islam who are likely not to sympathize with the terrorists. Turkey has Muslims who believe in secular government -- certainly not a core Islamic belief. In other parts of the world, Islam has mixed with Animist, Hindu or Buddhist beliefs. These Muslims are in as much or more danger from the Islamofacists as you or I. That said, perhaps 60% or more usually express "fundamentalist" beliefs and can be expected to actively support "radicalism". That is still a huge number of crazy people and Britain, with its Pakistani population, would seem to has more than its share.
