Your logic is sound, but liberals dismiss logic as an evil conservative ploy. The key element that you didn't take into account is that white liberals, (that would be approximately 50% of white people), are afflicted with self loathing. They hate themselves, they hate their society and they hate what their ancestors have done. So, whites uniquely will punish themselves.
Latinos and Blacks have no such affliction.
