Another troubling aspect in the UK. Briton is essentially "gun free". This, of course, means the militant Islamic terrorists and wannabes are fully armed with automatic weapons while the rest of the English people have nothing but small knives. This means that if the Islamic "Sharia Law now" group actually does something uncharacteristic (like organize into and army) they can cause A LOT of trouble and casualties. This would simply terrorize most of the leftists in the UK into submission. The "right wing nuts" in the UK would beg for help from the US and we would gladly give it, but the damage to the UK would be severe.

I know, of course, that the same Islamic population in the US is also armed (I live right next to it). However, even in their "two minute hate" frenzies, the Islamofascists here understand that they are out-gunned and would only have success in leftist enclaves before being hunted down and killed.

Worse yet, the Brit police are largely unarmed. It's worse there than in Canada - while we have a gun registry (soon to be scrapped, thank the Lord) we still have millions of gun owners and our cops are well armed. Nothing like the States though.
