Simple solution. That's the thirty percent you either deport or move to some island where they cannot harm anybody other than themselves.
We clearly need a Muslim homeland they can go to, to live as they want to. They never will be happy living among non-Muslims.
Perhaps the UN can arrange a place for them to go to?
When you have a large population of people who think think you should adopt an archaic medieval legal system, they really don't belong in your country and should be removed as rapidly as possible.
30% of British Muslims is a meaningless statistic unless we know what percentage of their population is Muslim. Any guesses?
If the Older generation doesn't want to live under sharia law, then it needs to get busy smacking the daylights out of the younger generation until it knocks some sense into it.
Until then they are just as culpable for this insanity.
This dovetails with my post just a few minutes ago:
Saudis: Don't Call Muslims 'Fascists' (THE HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY FROM PURVEYORS OF HATE-FILLED RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS IN THE WEST)
The interesting part about this is that some Muslims (accused of committing a crime) have appeared in court and said that they don't recognize the current judicial system.
They recognize only Sharia - and want to be tried under those laws.
The scary part about all of this is that eventually they're gonna find a bleeding-heart liberal judge (on their side of the Atlantic Ocean or ours) who'll say "Yes, how Euro-centric of us to think that you have to be held accountable for your actions under our laws".
At that point, Pandora's Box is opened wide and the Islamification of the West will begin in earnest. I fear that day.
My problem isn't so much with the 30% (as crazy as they are) as with the other 70%. Polls like this come out all the time...I remember one after the London bombings that said that about that same number sympathized with the terrorists. The question is, when is that other 70% going to stand up and be counted? This is their problem, and it's their responsibility to clean up. However, this alleged "moderate Muslim World" has, so far, been completely silent. Except for, of course, when they feel that governments are actively trying to take steps to limit the actions of that 30%, in which case they are out in the streets demanding blood. Until I see the other 70% of muslims out marching and denouncing terrorists and terrorism, then I have no problem with any measures taken to restrict or monitor muslims.
Like Iran, these populations think they want that, until they actually have to live with it. Then when actually faced with that nightmare existance, like many millions of citizens in Iran, they want out big time.
Very few of them are actually Madrassa trained.
The problem is simply this: Islam is designed to be a combination of a religion and a form of government. For small numbers of expatriate, non-devout Muslims, the mosque is simply a place to get together and pray like they did in the old country. For larger numbers, the mosque becomes a civic center, almost like a cross between a church and a city hall.
In most Middle Eastern countries, this doesn't cause a problem, because the overall government doesn't really care what the mosques say so long as they keep their criticism of the dictator silent. In fact, the mosques help keep society organized, which is advantageous for a corrupt tyrant.
In Western countries, however, there are no secret police coming to shoot the Imam if he says "Chirac (or Blair or whoever) is a craven infidel and it is the duty of good Muslims to resist him." That means that the truly vicious versions of Islam, the ones that are kept at bay by gunpoint in the Middle East, are free to run wild.
What we are seeing in England is that the power of zealots can be curbed only by keeping their numbers low, or by keeping a lid on the mosques by way of a brutal, repressive policing. Otherwise, they will fight day and night to raise a Taliban style government wherever they are.
Q: What is the Islamic understanding about democracy, Is there any place for it in Islam? The 2/3 of the Mohammedan population who don't support sharia law are the equivalent of "pro-choice Catholics," i.e., not practicing.A: The common form of democracy prevalent at the moment is representative democracy, in which the citizens do not exercise their right of legislating and issuing political decrees in person, but rather through representatives chosen by them. The constitution of a democratic country will be largely influenced by the needs and wants of its people. Thus, if its people want casinos, bars, gay marriages, prostitution, etc. then with sufficient public pressure, all these vices can be accommodated for. From this, it becomes simple to understand that there can never be scope for a democratic rule from the Islamic point of view.

Amazed that as many as 30%...forgot about lying to infidels.
If they want sharia law, fit them out with inner tubes and set them afloat with information about ocean currents that might take them to Iran or some other 9th century utopia.
The only way western democracies can be safe is mass deportations and an end to the "come one-come all" immigration nightmare our elites have fostered.
Well, I'm sure the pc thing to reiterate woould be that the population is changing and society must recognize the needs of those moving in. That being said, stfu and move back to all those lovely countries that already have what you "need."
As a Catholic, I know that there are rules that I must follow. As an American, I understand that I live under these rules, but not everyone does. Just because I eat fish on Friday, doesn't mean that everyone else does. And I know that there are plenty of other religions and groups with their own sets of rules, and they live under these rules while I have mine.
Why some Muslims cannot grasp this concept is beyond me. My main guess is that many of them have not lived alongside other cultures in a democratic country. It must be difficult to make that transition. Our ancestors made the transition from their own theocracies to countries with forms of government like ours many many years ago. Most Muslims living in the West are still trying to adjust. We must deal with those whose extreme views make them a threat to freedom and democracy, and we must be patient with the rest.
I've seen British polls that are as high as 40%.
