Was this self-image problem a feature pack upgrade to Rove's Hurricane machine or was it an add on to the voting machine manipulator?

A Gap In Their ArmorShould be A Gap Between Their Ears. Dean seems convinced that organization is everything, and it is--if those who are doing the work believe in the cause. I seem to recall last election where many democrat workers simply didn't show up to work the polls.
Howard, if you push a radical agenda, you have to accept that most radicals would rather TALK about being radical during protests/parties, while the boring old folks who are interested in specific issues are the ones who show up to vote. The folks interested in rebelling in general don't always do those piddly unrevolutionary things like vote on election day.

Check with Cynthia McKenny on that.
A democrat beats a democrat and she's claiming voter fraud.
Unless the Daley's of Chicago were in Georgia as campaign 'consultants' ..... voter fraud has seen it's 15 minutes of fame.

The odd result is that Republicans, who defend individualism in theory, act like communitarians where their party is concerned.E.J.Dionne is a mushmouthed idiot. That is one of the stupidest reached I've read in ages.

BUMP
During the final few days of Election 2004, Soros money was spent to recruiting liberal college students from various states to come to FL to GOTV for Kerry. They flew to Miami, checked in their hotels and then.......went to the beach.
The FL GOP grassroots worked the phones, walked the precincts and GOTV for Bush!

EJ is a trip. He is talking about Soros being gone when he is reported to be funding soopersecret think tanks. The dims are going private with their money and I suspect the EJ is trying to manufacture a rope-a-dope strategy for those losers.

Yes, but you're forgetting that after they came back from the beach, they instantly got online and bitched about Dieboldt stealing the election, so it's not like they didn't have a crucial role in the democrat strategy! :)

I have seen flat out lies about how well the rat is doing in raising money. Here's some truth to start off your day:
"President Bush, Laura Bush, and others close to the president, such as Karl Rove, have raised $189 million so far for the November elections, according to Republican sources. That figure is more than TWICE the amount the Bush team raised for congressional races during the ENTIRE 2002 election cycle." ( Newsmax July 15 )

Karl Rove's greatest victory is how much he has spooked Democrats about themselves. A CONSTANT theme in DUmmieland. No incident, no matter how trivial, is always attributable to being part of a grand Rovian plot. To read the DUmmies, you would think that Rove NEVER sleeps due to being involved in a complex myriad of plots.

What Dionne really wonders... is if America will turn over Congress to a party of appeasers & poltroons. He's wetting his panties with the poll numbers... but with world events ominously following a template leftover from 1938... the socialists have their doubts.

"Wealthy donors who bankrolled grass-roots organizing in the 2004 presidential campaign have largely gone to the sidelines this year."
Naaah.
Wealthy RATS donors like Soros, have merely switched most of their money to the monbat kooks at moveon and other far left crazies, that's all.
