I think Bush screws up our national security at our borders and his love of social program spending is fairly disgusting.
He's done good in prosecuting the war under these modern conditions IMO.
If we had the 24 hour cable news watching in WW2 we might all be speaking either Japanese or German today.

Regarding Lebanon, Hezbollah and the Jews....
Again, based on the world we are in and the more liberal leadership that Israel has at this time, I think this ceasefire was just a time-out in what will be a continuation of the war.

Regarding ANY action we take in the Middle East or our allies like Brittan, Australia or Israel takes...
It will all fail unless we stop this military targets only war. War is nation to nation, not nation to military target.

Lebanon cuddled with Hezbollah, and despite there being lots of Christians there, there has to be between Israel and Lebanon a war between nations where there is more collateral damage that isn't only military targeted.
If the country doesn't respect the power of Israel, and they handcuff themselves with limited targets, then how do they win?

Likewise we in our battles need to use overwhelming force IMO and if Iran and Syria is seriously known to be involved, we better get to kicking their @sses now rather than allow their oil money to keep financing the death of good soldiers and innocent civilians.

Radical Islam only respects POWER.
If it is shown Jihad fails and only gets them and all they care about destroyed, then maybe they will stop this cr@p, or die.

Exactly. The only things they respond to are force, fear and intimidation. We have to be MORE vicious, MORE brutal and MORE ferocious than they are.

That is what some people are saying but the problem is that it gives Hezbollah time to regroup. Israel did not even get their soldiers back.
