What the future holds, none of us can accurately predict. We'll just have to see what comes along.

There is a very long, but encouraging article by Norman Podhoretz, linked on today's Real Clear Politics. He compares President Bush to President Truman, who recognized that communism represented a new kind of threat after WWII and had to be confronted in a new way. Reagan completed what Truman started, and we can only hope that some future president will be on hand to complete what GWB has initiated.

Yes, we can only hope that someone/s will continue and finish what President Bush started. It sure won't be a damned Dem, though; that we know.
