Maybe I've read too many David Horwitz' books. I've come to believe as he does that the US left knows exactly what they do. In short, they believe that worldwide socialism is inevitable, that the US delays this inevitability and thus it is moral to do what it takes to defeat the US. Oh, and as for the islamic threat, it will disappear because they will embrace socialism too.

I agree with you when it pertains to the leaders of the left, but the rank and file swallow the propaganda and never question it. They are the ones I was refering to. As far as the leaders and the news media, they are all for the destruction of the US as it exists now, especially the constitution, BUT they are blind to the real threat to them as well as us, that is the muslims. They will snuff the left faster than the rest if given a chance, as soon as the left stops being useful to them.

Left-wing blogs and bloggers are vitriol anti-Americans and anti-Isreal (anti-semitics). They threaten others who do not hold to Michael Moore conspiracy theories and they lack critical questioning skills. Their venomous hatred for President Bush is pathological and their anhedonic behavior, (unable have fun) leads them to hate their country, so they pursuit excitement in blogging that intended to alleviate their all-pervasive boredom and melancholy. In other words they are sick.

If they think they're mainstream, they're also delusional.

These fearless warriors should be put right on the front lines with islamic terrorists. Nothing to be afraid of.

They already are along with Kennedy, Pelosi, Durbin, Kerry, Clinton, Murtha etc. Their smear tactics will get them just what they sow........

According the British spy Winterbotham, Chamberlain was not a bit fooled by Hitler. Had Britain went to war in 1938, she would have been defeated along with France. Chamberlain knew they needed another year before they had enough Spitfires and trained pilots to replace the old Bisons and supplement the inferior Hurricanes. By then he realized France was a broken reed shot through with Nazi sympathizers right up to the highest levels of the government and military. It was either sacrifice the Czechs or go down in flames with France and the rest of Europe. The time to deal with Hitler was in 1935 or 36. Had France and Britain stood as a united front against the Nazis early on, Hitler would have probably turned his attention entirely to the East. Fanatics never respect irresolution, which they will always interpret as weakness.

Here's the meat:

"Can we expect as much of our Left? It seems doubtful. Our Left criticized George W. Bush when The New York Times revealed that the National Security Agency was surveilling telephone calls from al-Qaida suspects overseas to the United States. Now it appears that the United States surveilled the British terrorists, and that they made phone calls to the United States. The Left cried foul when The New York Times revealed that the United States was monitoring money transfers at the SWIFT bank clearinghouse in Brussels. Now it appears that there was monitoring of money transfers by the British terrorists in Pakistan. On Tuesday, the Left was gleeful that it was scoring political points against George W. Bush. On Thursday, it seemed that the supposedly controversial NSA surveillance contributed to savings thousands of lives."

"The Threat from Within
by J. F. Kelly, Jr. [writer] 8/15/06

Normally, I’m proud to say that I’m from Connecticut but not lately. Sen. Joe Lieberman, the state’s most prominent politician, is usually too liberal for my taste. He votes the democratic agenda more than 90% of the time but he is a man of great integrity who is not afraid to disagree with his party on strongly-felt issues. On the one that matters most, he is that rare politician who always puts the security of his country ahead of party politics.

The latter quality cost the three-term senator, who ran as his party’s vice-presidential nominee only six years ago, the Democratic nomination for reelection. Party leaders (I use the term loosely), including Connecticut colleague Chris Dodd, deserted him in favor of a well-heeled, unknown novice from Greenwich named Ned Lamont. Lieberman’s unpardonable offense against his party was to continue to support the war in Iraq that almost every one of them also supported back in the days when it looked like it was going to be easy. He correctly sees Iraq as part of the war on terrorism."

My spanish is not good.

But the title says something like "the old bastard is not yet dead " ( ? )

Anyway, the bottom says that Castro supports Lamont.

John Aravosis

He'll be plenty scared after the next attack when a President with balls starts rounding up and jailing leftist scumbags.

Some are even going to be lined up against a wall and shot.

If its good enough for Castro, its good enough for US national security.
